Re: Vikings to Play Two Seasons at TCF Bank Stadium
The bad thing is, alot of fans aernt like the Vikings fans. Just getting to the new (or the TCF) in the winter, could be really tough for out of state fans. Which makes me wonder, when the new stadium is built, even with a roof, its so cold here around SB time, the out of state fans aernt going to be as happy as in, the southern states.

I can see this viewpoint but from my English perspective and a history of attending soccer games, the colder, the better. In my opinion, braving all types of weather for a sporting cause depicts dedication perfectly.PurpleKoolaid wrote:The bad thing is, alot of fans aernt like the Vikings fans. I look forward to a good few trips across the pond when the Vikes are playing at TCF.

What needs to be done to winterize the facilities and how much will it cost the Vikings?
Will seating capacity remain at ~ 50,800 for Vikings games?

I'm looking forward to wearing my snow mobile suit and getting a little buzzed before the outdoor games. However, getting to TCF will be horrible if that LRT construction isn't done and the lanes are all stupefied like they are now. I will be walking from South Minneapolis if things don't get straightened out
Pull yr 84 jerseys out.

No, the roof collapsed a few years ago, so some fresh air got in

I believe that is one of the upgrades that the Vikings ill be paying for in order to play there.ranskal wrote:When the Vikes played the game there when the roof collapsed, didn't they say that the TCF field was not heated? I wonder if they will add something for that or just play on it that way.
