Then don't start him, simple as that. "We are resting Ponder for next week" isn't a acceptable reason for not starting your 1st string QB.admvp wrote: It's like people forgot he was a backup quarterback. And not just any backup, Ponder's backup. He has nothing to offer. It's that simple.

Webb is trying way to hard to throw the ball. It looks forced on every throw.
Vikings fan since Nov. 6, 1966. Annoying Packer fans since Nov. 7, 1966

Well, I got we wanted last week, and I kinda feel like the team feels the same.
A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order.

Pull the QB this isnt' working, those two passes at the end should tell Frazier its time to put in someone that can throw the ball

The run option formations in the first drive. And that last pass shows why Webb will never make it in in this league.yezzir wrote: Which formations?

Ok, that last pass may have been the worst I've ever seen. No pressure, defense in prevent, WR wide open 15 yards away, the pass is 5 yards short. Yikes.

Honestly, MBT is the only option left. That was just plain fugly.

Packers are just staying in their gaps and letting things come to them. They are not worried at all about the Vikings going over the top, though, and those throws are there but Webb isn't or can't connect on them.
Frustrating...
