Alan Page.
Dude was a freak; can you imagine a Page-Allen-Robison line?

When you're born, you get a ticket to the freak show. When you're born in America, you get a front row seat.

Joey Browner baby! Imagine a secondary with Joey Browner, Harrison Smith, Windield and Carl Lee too? Add Doleman with Allen and you have a ridiculously scary defense there. I would take for QB Wade Wilson. He was their best QB since the 80's. I don't count Favre's one great year. He was a gun for hire, not a true Viking.

Bucky Sribner and Gilbert Renfroe in that order....JUST KIDDING!
Our need is quarterback and I'd go with Brett Favre...miss his enthusiasm and the fun he broght to the Vikes for the game............. but I'd have to go with Joey Browner....I remember watching him warm up before the game and the dude would be sommer saulting and jumping everywhere....Had the strongest hands in the league and people never got by him...Hit like a truck...Add that to our secondary and we are an elite

I see a whole lot of similarities between Browner and Harrison Smith. I will take that a step further and say that Smith is the result of combining Paul Krause and Browner into one modern day player.

Wow. Great question. Hmm for offense I would want to have Cris Carter (WR) giving us another weapon on offense. On defense I would add the the legendary Joey Browner (SS), Bobby Bryant (CB), and Matt Blair (LB).

Honestly, I want the entire 1975 roster back. They deserve a second chance.
But if I can only pick one all-time Viking? Fran Tarkenton, easily. A player of his mobility and caliber at QB and this is an unstoppable team in many ways.

Re: What all time Viking would you want on this team
I often wonder how some of the players from the late 60s and 70s Vikings teams would fare today. Mick Tingelhoff weighed 235 lbs and was manhandled in Super Bowl IV back in 1970 by the Chiefs' nose tackle who weighed something like 280. Alan Page weighed 240 lbs soaking wet and after a big breakfast. Would he even be capable of weighing the required 300 lbs of today's DT, or would he be a linebacker or DE? Hell, there are safeties bigger than Page playing today.
Tarkenton would be interesting. With the speed of today's players, I doubt that his vaunted mobility would take him far in today's NFL. Would his passing accuracy and field awareness by themselves be enough today?
I think Chuck Foreman would do well.

Right now, I'd take Jeff George.

I'm not kidding.
