Spielman may not have that long. If If were the Wilfs, I'd say Vikes need to beat the Packers and Bears and least once *this* season or they're both gone.
No Wilfs love these guys. And their real estate management success gives them new ways to manage their NFL team, much like Jerry Jones. If anyone goes, Spielman fires Frazier and picks his own HC. Spielman has stated repeatedly in recent weeks that it takes him three years to decide on a QB like Ponder. Go Vikes!

First Half:

O-Line: D (deficient all around)
Ponder: D (dumb throws under pressure)
Peterson: F (fumble hurt us bad)
Jenkins: I (invisible)
Jarius Wright: A (for effort)
The other idiot WR: F (hands of brick)
Rudolph: B (at least he's trying, a couple of nice plays)

Check Down Charlie has a QB rating of 39 in the first half. That is all. Frazier you are a stupid coach. Period.

Eh semantics ! If Rudolph makes that catch and Simpson doesn't drop that ball we score early who knows . Why cant we ever stop them on third down ? That is the big problem in all our losses the defense has been terrible just pathetic .

But even if it does take 3 years, you still have to field a competitive team and a starter during that time your long-term answer is developing. What is happening now is not acceptable.

This is the worst I've ever seen a team play off of the bye. A major piece or pieces of the puzzle are wrong here. Between Ponder/Musgrave/Frazier, someone or a combination therein has to be held accountable for this. This team is flat. Play-calling is unimaginative.

Really pathetic. I am really starting to see that Ponder really does not have it. I have seen enough now, what 20 games? Missing receivers by a mile. Something else is also wrong though, when your deepest receiver is the TE down the seam.

Speilman better be pulling his hair out right now.

It was a tough catch to make... he was double covered and they were all over him as the ball arrived.

Charlie can't throw into a tight window. He won't even try. He's back to his backpedaling scrambles where he buys all sorts of time only to go out of bounds or get hit in the head while he's diving forward.

I'd just run AD all second half. Just run him and run him and run him and let Ponder the Wonder Boy hand it off.

10 different receivers caught passes vs Lions two weeks ago. The problem is when Ponder is bad, he is dreadful, but he is not always horrible. Worst case Vikings are 6-5 after this week off 3-13. Mediocre is not the place to be if you want immediate QB change.
