You pull it back and buy some time, look for an open man... maybe the receiver adjusts and runs a sideline route. It's pointless to throw him the ball when Tillman is lined up two yards in front of him. one thing I don't understand with Musgrave is why he doesn't call that play with the throw to Wright on 1st or 2nd down. get to a manageable 3rd down so that even if you have to throw short like we usually do the 1st down is possible. Its not just today, something I've noticed all season.
