Cedric Benson out for 8 to 10 Weeks With Lisfranc Injury

"ESPN’s Adam Shefter reports that Benson has been diagnosed with a Lisfranc injury and will miss eight weeks. What’s worse for the Packers is that they initially signed Benson this year because their stable of running backs is putrid. It’s now a lot worse.

Now, if doctors determine that he needs surgery, he’ll be out for the rest of the year."

The Lisfranc Injury is an injury to the middle of the foot.

"one or all of the metatarsal bones are displaced from the tarsus"

If that sounds bad, it is because it is really freakin' bad.
