Run up the middle for nothing? I really don't understand that here at all. Go for a screen pass or something even if it's a short, high % pass.

If they were going to do that, the time to do it was on first down. I didn't care for the playcalling in that sequence but the strategy was sound. 3 runs should have allowed them to force the Jags to burn two time outs and run the clock way down.

In the end, the defense has to be able to defend 60-70 yards worth of field.
