Gus "got his chance"
Um...
Backed up Griese and the Broncos, went to playoffs, lost to Ravens (eventual Super Bowl champ)
Backed up Culpepper, won both games when called upon.
8-3 with Vikings
9-6 with Dolphins
Where is this idea that he "sucked?" I don't get it.

No, the remark was tongue-in-cheek referring to him taking the knee. I think he had already left Minnesota when Green came there if I recall correctly.soflavike wrote: Did Mularkey play for Green?

I picked Detroit in the Pick 'Em League. Stafford is a BUM. 3 first half picks, come on ####! You're selling me out!

You conveniently left out his Redskins seasons... and the infamous self-injury head-butting a wall.Hunter Morrow wrote:Gus "got his chance"

Oh, don't worry... I got the gist of your remark. I will never forgive De-knee Green. I just couldn't remember if Mularkey was on any of Green's teams... I think he may have played when Burnsie was head coach.Just Me wrote: No, the remark was tongue-in-cheek referring to him taking the knee. Everybody remembers T-Jack's awesome game vs Arizona and points to that. Turned out to be a mere flash in the pan.Demi wrote:And the worst part was everyone acting like TJoke got us to the playoffs that year ever since.

To be fair, it's not like Tarvaris was any better in those areas.Purplemania wrote:Gus was horribly inaccurate. For a veteran, he had no pocket presence.
