A strange request re: needing phone books from Chicago area.

Hi, all


As most of you know, I do medical transcription from home, but it's for hospitals throughout the country. I do quite a bit of dictation from a couple of hospitals out of Illinois - Rush Copley (Aurora) and Wishard, and I know we have some Chicago fans here. Does anyone out there have a used phone book they're just itching to get rid of with info on either or both hospitals? If you could mail it to me, I'd reimburse the charges. Going to www.anywho.com has proven worthless lately and I'd love to have a local phone book to make looking up some of these doctors' name easier (the docs have been known to get a tad miffed at misspelled names but when you have nothing else to go by, what are you going to do?). I've also checked out all of the doctor name web sites I have listed and they've also proven to be worthless. I simlpy don't have time to sift through 175 names when I get paid by the line and don't know if the phone co. would send me these books.

Please let me know. I don't know if both hospitals would be in the same phone book or not but I'd be willing to pay for one with physicians for Wishard and one for physicians for Rush.

P.S. - these phone books would need to be recent - within the past couple of years, as new physicians are added all the time.
