RIP Patrick Swayze

Post by PurpleMustReign »

LOS ANGELES - Patrick Swayze, the hunky actor who danced his way into viewers' hearts with "Dirty Dancing" and then broke them with "Ghost," died Monday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57.

That is sad. I liked him. I wasn't as into the Dirty Dancing craze as, say, my mom was, but he was a good guy.

I liked him too. Enjoyed his movies and I still remember his dad's commercials when I was a kid.

imo the guy was a pretty normal guy for how famous he was..

He was married for over 30 years to the same woman in hollywood
that is saying something. He wasn 't into the whole being famous
for being famous crowd.

Patrick Swayze was a genuine nice guy. That's all people ever said about him. That says a lot in Hollis Wood.

He was a very good actor and a great dancer. He could also poke fun at himself and do roles that would kill a lesser man.

Wolverines ... Ditto.

I didn't know engineering draftsmen did commercials. His dad was Jesse Wayne Swayze and John Cameron Swayze was his sixth cousin. (Exactly what is a sixth cousin, anyway?)
