I think he is stuttering. If he was high his speech would be slurred and run together. I don't think that is the problem here. I feel bad for the poor guy.

This kid OBVIOUSLY was nervous as hell, and more than likely has a stuttering problem. Think about it, he is a rookie in front of the media for the first time after a great preseason game. You could obviously tell by all the shifting in his body he was nervous. He is a 7th round draft pick that made the team.

Most of these guys don't have to talk to the media, and then to throw a rookie out there with little to no experience with public speaking, what do you expect? He also answered every question with "yes sir" "no sir." The kid is polite, but has a speaking disorder.

Also, stuttering does NOT equal intelligent, and I know that is where you are trying to go with this.
