So you thought winter was over...

Run into some old friends from another group or board? Want to do a little schmoozing, talk over old times? Or just some off topic stuff, then this is the place.

So you thought winter was over...

Post by DeeEss57 »

WRONG! :)

We're under a Winter Storm Warning. They're calling for 8-14 inches of snow, with 40-50 mph winds. It's not doing anything here in Duluth at this moment, but it's on the way. Work should be real fun tomorrow morning.

We all know why we're getting this snow, don't we? 'Cause it's high school hockey tournament time! :)

The Weather Channel has two of its guys here today. They're standing down by the Big Lake, waiting for the storm to hit us.

Yeah, I got about 10 days of leave authorized before I go to Fort Stewart.
The weather was really nice in Wisconsin when I arrived and the snow was starting to melt.
In the past two days we've had over 10 inches of snow and several inches of sleet and freezing rain.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH
I was sitting in a bar that I like and nobody was there! And then I look to the TVs and every county within 100 miles of me was under Severe Winter Advisory or something.
