Don't feel that bad. I got 360 and madden 09, soo disappointed. Previous Gen madden was so much better.

I like it, but it can get too hard for me. I am All Madden in passing and rushing. All the way All Madden BTW. I am All Pro in pass and rush defense. It can get pretty hard. Otherwise, I like the gameplay and graphics for the Xbox 360.

I just finally bought a PS3 today and bought Madden. Boy do I suck! I was pretty good on the original XBOX, but have only played a few games on the next gen consols over the last few years. The different controls is the biggest hurdle right now, I can't get used to R2 being accelerate rather than X for instance.

I do alright on offense considering I've been using the Vikings and have TJ at qb. I absolutely can't do crap on defense though. The CPU passes all over me for a ridiculous completion percent. I can't get a pass rush to save my life in the couple of games I played so far. I stop the run decently though. I'm going to swallow my pride and go down to Pro for a while to get my feet under me (I've played All Pro for years on xbox because it gave the most realistic sim.)

Any tips for my improvement?
