Re: NFL Network Question
An ardent supporter of the hometown team should go to a game prepared to take offense, no matter what happens.

So basically this benefits anyone who doesn't have.... NBC? Why don't they make the regional games viewable on the Internet. Heck, charge a subscription for it if they have to. It's better than Sopcast/nothing.axeldaddy wrote:Check it!

Re: NFL Network Question
Well, it's been almost a week now that I have had my new extended cable package and the digital sports tier with NFLN. Got to say I think it was worth the money. I mean, where else can I get 27/7 live coverage of nothing but Lord and Master/Brett Favre. Only Viking stuff I get to see is when they are in a Favre clip. Yes sir, money well spent.

Wilbon was openly mocking the Favre overcoverage on PTI yesterday.
Re: NFL Network Question
It's ridiculous, are their ratings actually better during Favre segments or what? Why do they keep this crap up.
And yeah, NFL Network is fine...for the Thursday night games, the around the league type thing on sunday night / monday is ok. And the thing that they play sunday afternoon which jumps from game to game (mainly raiod) and show highlights and stats is kinda fun.
Otherwise...it's pretty terrible almost exclusively replays. How many times are they going to show the Pats playoff game? Now they're going to be adding The Playmaker? what next, Emmitt? Sure hope not!
