Run into some old friends from another group or board? Want to do a little schmoozing, talk over old times? Or just some off topic stuff, then this is the place.
Sunday night and early Monday, some cities in northern Minnesota got two feet of snow:
Grand Rapids - 20"
Orr - 20"
Bemidji - 20"
Hibbing - 25"
Virginia - 25"
Chisholm - 25"
Eveleth - 25"
And just north of Virginia, it was reported that 32" of snow fell!
Meanwhile, Duluth and North Shore cities only got a couple of inches, which quickly turned to slush.

Is it May yet?
Dawn
32 inches... I'd start hitting people if that happened here.

I am already wearing shorts
We don't want to hear about it!
Now, we have a blizzard watch for tomorrow night and Friday. They're talkin' about a foot or more for the shore cities and not much away from the lake. I'm just glad I don't work Friday.

My kids and I may get to make one more snowman this year.
Grr!
I am really getting sick of this sh## !
Its friggen April, its supposed to be in the 60's and fairly nice....this winter has been too long and the older I get the more I wonder WTF am I doing living in this Godforsaken land.
The city of Duluth is closed. As is most of the surrounding area. We've only gotten three or four inches of snow, but we have 50 mph wind gusts. Two of the three TV stations here are not on the air. They're calling for 5 or 6 more inches of snow today, through tomorrow morning.
But, the Duluth News Tribune was delivered this morning, with only a few exceptions, to its customers! Do we have great newspaper carriers, or what? I'm really proud of those people.
