New Nine Inch Nails album

Post by HornedMessiah »

Any NIN fans here? A new album came out on Sunday, 36 tracks and all instrumental. And now that he's free of any record label contracts, he's releasing it himself, available in a variety of formats (check it out: http://ghosts.nin.com and http://ghosts.nin.com/main/order_options)

I think this is the future of the music industry: record labels are unnecessary middle-men that take an unfair share of the profits. Bands like Radiohead, and now NIN, are taking matters in to their own hands and coordinating their own distribution.

Awesome, I hadn't heard of the release and now will have to get it ASAP. The last two records IMO haven't been quite as good as The Fragile and Downward Spiral but still very good. I've always thought Resnor should do instrumentals a lot more and am glad an entire album of them has come to the surface.

Thanks trent for an album that, well, isnt NIN. IMO, NIN has always been vocals and will always be. The beats are nice, i listened to a dozen songs on the site but without his voice it doesnt seperate itself from any techno/dance/beatbox type junk i can find anywhere. Please make another real album. I liked with teeth and year zero, perhaps not as much as his older stuff. Good luck on the next try, this ones a dud.
