Run into some old friends from another group or board? Want to do a little schmoozing, talk over old times? Or just some off topic stuff, then this is the place.

15 lateral TD play

Post by Mothman »

In case you missed it or didn't hear about it, treat yourself and take a few minutes to watch this video of a game-winning, 15 lateral play. You can watch it as part of an interview with the winning coach:

... or it can be seen on YouTube:

The play takes about a minute to unfold! Has there ever been a longer, or more improbable, football play?

Saw that last week and still can't believe it. Puts the Stanford-Cal play to shame.

I saw it last week to. That is amazing. Its unreal that no one was able to tackle the ball carriers. I guess it goes to show that it really ain't over till the fat lady sings!!

In case you people don't know, cameras clearly showed that one of the Cal players who had the ball had a knee on the ground near mid field. Don't believe me? What the play again. There's no question that the guy was down.

That was fun! It was a bit like seriously disorganised rugby...
