Most Encouraging Sign for 2016
Just my $0.02. Nothing fun about a last second loss but I saw much positivity for the future in the game thread, a feeling I share. A quick thought, nothing novel I'm sure, it's been a while since I posted. The players play the games (cliche). But I think it is tremendously promising that Zimmer and...

Re: SI Article about shutdown / me
Thank you, Geoff, for running the Board for so many years and for taking over for Mike's phenomenal work. No worries at all on my end what happened this week. The best part about this Board is that it is moderated for civility. For those who want to criticize, please realize that this Board goes bac...

Re: Adrian Peterson Indicted for Negligent Injury to a Child
Every alleged action attributed to Adrian Peterson in this story is awful. I'm heartbroken for the children if the alleged acts prove a regular course of action in his household those times when his children are present.

Good for them. Even Harvin...I guess. :x
I don't understand the hate for Harvin. He played great while he was here (too good maybe, he kept Ponder around too long), and we got great value for him, considering he is injury prone. H...

Re: Assistant Coaches:
Maybe we should have kept Bevell. He just coached a Super Bowl winning offense
He's come a long way from the day his boss ordered him to lie about the absence of four star players from a training camp practice while on a plane to Mississippi. Good for him.

Re: Some football game tonight
Did I just read the Broncos have the most Super Bowl losses now? :)
Yes, but unfortunately 2-5 still beats 0-4 in a row (Bills) and 0-4 (Vikings but not since 1976 season, now one of the longer Super Bowl appearance droughts in the league -- Lions, Browns, and wh...
Are you ready for an entire offseason of debate on Manning's legacy? Can you blame tonights loss on him?
The game's defining moments were the confusion and resulting safety on the first play from scrimmage, the INTs by Manning, and Harvin's kickoff return to ...
http://msn.foxsports.com/south/story/nfl-s-greatest-teams-to-not-win-the-super-bowl-1-20-012714
Interesting topic thanks. I observe that the 14-2 Falcons team that defeated the 15-1 Vikings in 1998 also made this list, at #15 compared to the Vikings #5 dis...

Wow! The Super Bowls at one time were often blowouts, not recently. When's the last blowout like this?

Re: Some football game tonight
I'm happy for Percy Harvin, Heath Farwell, Darrell Bevell, Pete Carroll, and Tarvaris Jackson, players and coaches with a Vikings history now earning their first Super Bowl ring barring a collapse of epic proportion. I'm especially happy to see Percy Harvin contribute, he was one of my favorite Viki...
I'm sure this has potential to get me flamed, but I admit that I agreed with the spirit of the lawsuit in spite of my desires to see a new play pen for the Vikings. I felt the legal issues were of valid concern. The suit contended that the legislature essentially violat...

Unless it's 2-14 then 2-14, both should be around to open the new stadium.

Re: Kluwe rips Frazier, Spielman, Priefer
It's again disappointing to me that Kluwe's camp felt the need today to very publicly try to influence public opinion in the investigation by talking to the press. The most interesting thing to me that the lawyer for Kluwe stated was that they are concerned the investigation will conclude that Prief...
