I'm already pissed they didn't draft a center until the sixth round.VikingPaul73 wrote: Happy Draftsmas!!
I am already pissed off at the pick, and the Vikes don't draft for another 8 hours!!!!

Ha! You think they'll draft a center? You poor, deluded fan.dead_poet wrote:I'm already pissed they didn't draft a center until the sixth round.
Just kidding. It could happen. I figure they'll go defense in rounds 1-5 just to tick me off, grab that center at 6 and worry about the rest of the offense after that.
Re: 2016 NFL Draft thread
I would be pretty happy with Vonn Bell as an Ohio State pick, in the 2nd round. Would give us a pretty nice safety core.CbusVikesFan wrote:Myles Jack falling all the way out of the 1st round?? Holy Smokes! DP, what do you know that we missed or haven't heard yet?
I'm interested to see if we draft any Buckeyes.

What's the over-under on Daunte getting his roll on before he announces the pick?Mothman wrote:This is cool:

I think it would be cooler if he did it after announcing the pick, as a celebration. I'd love to see that!Texas Vike wrote: What's the over-under on Daunte getting his roll on before he announces the pick?

It's likely he does it, right? Either when he's announced or after he announces the pick. I'd put 75% chance on the former and 25% on the latter.

I would be happy with that. He could be our next Winfield. Could be I reiterate.Eliot wrote: I would be pretty happy with Vonn Bell as an Ohio State pick, in the 2nd round. Would give us a pretty nice safety core.
Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

Re: 2016 NFL Draft thread
So, what are the odds that the Vikings trade out of their #23 spot? Mark Craig reported yesterday that Spielman says he's received calls from 2 teams about possibly moving into that position.

I did a bunch of mocks, and in about 75% of them, Graham Glasgow was in the top 5 best available in the 5th round, and I always took himdead_poet wrote: I'm already pissed they didn't draft a center until the sixth round.
So I'm predicting Graham Glasgow to the Vikes in the 5th!!!!

I am ready. Not as excited for this draft this year as in year's past, but hey, it is the draft.
A Randy Moss fan for life. A Kevin Williams fan for life.
Re: 2016 NFL Draft thread
Sure, why not? I have no idea what percentages to put on it so those work for me.CbusVikesFan wrote: 4% he trades up and about 75% trading down?
I feel the same way... and I am still excited. I'm eager for it start! I enjoy the spectacle and chaos of the whole thing.HardcoreVikesFan wrote:I am ready. Not as excited for this draft this year as in year's past, but hey, it is the draft.

Re: 2016 NFL Draft thread
You can basically just put the entire Ohio St. team uo for draft. Talk about talent.
