The Falcons couldn't have nothing at QB again so they went all in. I don't blame them because the class had many top rated QBs. I fully expect the Rams to score 30. We got a lucky break playing in a neutral field with many snowbirds heading there. See if our HC can solve this no TD deal. I expect them to jam our WRs which seemed to throw everything off. I don't recall much of that during the season but maybe there was and I missed it. Win tonight and off to Philly. That will soften any team.VikingLord wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 2:38 pmThe Vikings were one of the teams that wanted Cousins - Atlanta just offered him more. The Falcons also went ahead and drafted a QB high in the 1st round anyway, which at the time seemed perplexing but maybe in retrospect makes more sense.
Jones ripped the Vikings defense because Donatell played a scheme and didn't gameplan to stop him from running. Talk about someone who should maybe have been a coach and never a coordinator, Ed Donatell's picture would be next to the definition of that.
Speaking of which, let's hope Flores has a good plan to neutralize Puka and doesn't let Stafford beat them with the short stuff like happened last time these teams faced each other. Stafford is known for his ability to read the blitz and get the ball out quickly to counter it, so this might be a week we see less blitzing by the Vikings and more tight coverage. The Rams aren't known for their vertical passing game, and making Stafford hold the ball is the best way to rattle him.

I don't blame KOC for the loss. This loss rests solely on the shoulders of Sam Darnold. He was god awful tonight.
