Happy Birthday Bad A$% Bud!!
Bud holds a special place in my heart as he was the head coach
when I began life long allegiance to the Vikes, and especially the fact that Bud is a die hard outdoorsman. I was thrilled any time I saw an article about him in one of the many bowhunting magazines or segments on hunting or outdoor shows.
The man is a legend in my mind!
I could see him requesting to have a taxidermist mount him and place his mount in the Vikings headquarters... if he ever really does pass away!

Happy birthday to Bud. He is a wonderful human being. He gave his players extra time in the NFL for their pension benefit. Even though he knew it might cost our team and him. The best he ever said was that the NFL is entertainment. Vikings win or lose would create a good / bad mood in me. That's hasn't been the case since I read that from Bud. Of course he is a competitor and I'm sure he is in everything he does.

As a Disc Golfer myself I love that his son Dan was one of the best disc golfers in the state of Minnesota.
