Keenan McCardell the Vikings WR coach made an impassioned plea for our first round pick to be a non-WR. If you can believe that our drafting of a WR seems very doubtful.

I hope they take his advice.

It would be so cool to add another top notch WR to this offense. It may be just as good as getting better blocking by having a receiver break open sooner. I'm not advocating for it one way or another, but it's fun to think about.

I am sure they will, I mean Osborn played pretty well last year

There are always a couple of teams reaching for QBs.

How many go before #12? Who falls in our laps because of it?
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

I'm expecting O'Connor to use a lot of scheming guys open, pre-snap motion, and simplifying reads for Cousins. Kirk's at his best when there is a plan and the plan works. When A and B lead to C, Kirk is one of the best QBs in the league. We don't need imposing WRs. A Deebo type would be really useful, but someone that's going to blow the top off or win contested catches would end up being somewhat wasted in what I anticipate the Vikings doing offensively at this point. A TE or WR/RB combo that presents mismatches and can be schemed into one on one matchups or open space will be more productive, and lead Kirk to be more productive, than a second or third #1 WR (depending on how you count Thielen at this point).

I'm guessing only 1.
