Vikes work out two kickers

Though the Vikings haven't made any signings, either free-agent kicker could be available Sunday if they complete five days of COVID-19 testing before becoming eligible to play on the sixth day. Both began the testing protocol Tuesday.

I think they should just stick with Bailey. He's been money for a long time and while he's struggled recently, it's far more likely he'll get back on track than it is the Vikings will find someone who can come in at this late hour that they can count on when it matters.
Bailey needs some solid coaching right now and he needs to work the kinks out. He's got a bad case of the yips and while it's tempting to just cut him, hopefully Zimmer shows some wisdom here and doesn't give up on him quite yet. Bailey will get his chances to redeem himself against the Bears.

So glad we passed on Vizcaino and cut him. He's kicking arse for the 49ers today in his first game. Small sample size but geez Bailey was awful again today.

I think that in addition to our kicking problems the refs were working against us today. They called two penalties against Detroit that looked to be bad calls resulting in us winning and likely slipping down further in the draft.
