Mods you can move or delete if you want. I know there is at least another minn twins fan or here. I'm asking here because this is where all the traffic is does anyone know what channel the game is on Friday night other than the MLB network? I rolled through the dial and didn't see it.

Unfortunately everything I've read says it's ONLY MLB channel. I'm frustrated myself since I don't have that channel. I'll figure out a way to stream it however.

I vote to leave this thread up for the playoffs. Sadly, we need some distractions already around here.

You Minnesota guys seriously won't get this game on a local channel?! That is a joke if so. Something that asinine requires an email to the governor or something. Sheesh.

It doesn't look like it. It's asinine. I'm holding out hope that it's wrong, but so far... nothing. It's a bit like the NFL putting a playoff game on NFL channel. There are a lot of people who don't have that channel either, but I think MLB is even less. I'm guessing though.

Yeah, I heard that also. Might be the way to go. I'm guessing there will be some reddit streams if needed also. Illegal, but I'm not going to miss it, so I'll use if I have to.

Many don't. If you are on Comcast in the Twin Cities, you can get a free trail of it for a week. Of course, I cut the cord at least 7 years ago. Supposedly many of the smaller telecoms can't even get the channel from MLB.

The best solution currently is to sign up for Youtube TV free trial, and drop it later. Although, I've heard it's pretty good if you are a cord cutter. I personally don't have a need for it, since I mainly use Hulu and Netflix, and the Vikings are on over-the-air locally.

ALDS Roster set

No major surprises other than Arraez being healthy enough. That's great news. It's a little disappointing that La Tortuga didn't make it, but it's not a surprise. I thought he would get in over Adrianza, but Adrianza probably makes more sense. Astudillo is just so much fun to watch, and I think he helps the team play loose. Hopefully he'll travel with the travel at least.

I'm glad that they are not going to have Martin Perez out there. He's been pretty awful. If they keep Gibson on a REALLY short leash, he will be fine. All these young pitchers are scary, but they've definitely earned the spots. (Graterol, Stashak, Smeltzer) I just hope they don't realize it's the playoffs and freak out.

I think the fact that the Yankees are very heavy on the right-handed bats played a big part of Perez being off the roster. If they can get by the Yankees (gulp), I wouldn't be surprised if Perez is active for the next series in the bullpen.

Well that was no good. Yankees are a strong team. Kyle Gibson is the Kirk cousins of the twins nice guy but just doesn't have it.

Dont know why Rocco left him in with bases loaded after all the walks...oh well. I think they get right today by getting to Tanaka early and often.
