Good morning and Skol!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First place in the NFC North is on the line this Sunday when the Green Bay Packers visit the Minnesota Vikings in a betting pick'em.
The Minnesota Vikings have taken control of the NFC North with a 7-1 record straight up and an 8-0 record against the spread run over their last eight games. The Vikings will try to widen the gap this Sunday at home against the Green Bay Packers.
Green Bay at Minnesota is going off as a pick'em at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Packers had been favored in each of their last 12 games against the Vikings.
In a league loaded with fast-paced passing attacks, the Minnesota Vikings continue to win with old fashioned smash mouth football. Coming off a 30-14 win over Oakland, the Vikings have the second-best scoring defense in the league allowing only 17.1 points per game and the best rushing attack in the league with 147.2 rushing yards per game.
Adrian Peterson's 934 rushing yards lead the NFL by 227 yards more than second-place Chris Johnson. Peterson rushed for 203 yards against the Raiders.
Now Minnesota must prove its system can work against the Green Bay Packers. The Vikings are just 1-9-1 SU and 4-7 ATS in their last 11 games against the Packers per the OddsShark NFL Database.
Last Sunday, the Packers lost to the Detroit Lions at home for the first time since 1991. The Packers offense managed only 16 points in the 18-16 loss as a 10.5-point favorite.
Since starting the season off 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS, the Packers have fallen into an 0-3 SU and ATS slump as Aaron Rodgers has had some uncharacteristic struggles. Green Bay is 4-1 SU and ATS in its last five November road games against Minnesota.
Sunday's total is set at 45 points. The UNDER is 7-3 in Minnesota's last 10 games and 5-1 in Green Bay's last six games.
The Packers have too much talent not to work their way out of this slump, but this doesn't look like a good week to do it. Minnesota's smothering defense and clock-eating offense appear to be a quarterback's nightmare, and should help propel the Vikings to a home win over Green Bay this Sunday.
