Well, it is not like he has an all-world offensive line either. He isn't a bum.

Well, it isn't like Gerhart ever gave an attitude or whined about being here. He worked hard and did quite well when called upon. I don't understand why there is so much hate for him.

Because his being drafted was a mistake, that hurt the team. By a clueless head coach and questionable front office. Not sure anyone "hates" him. But there were quite a few people who felt he was starter caliber, and he sure didn't look that way to plenty of others...

He's been injured, in a putrid offence behind a horrid offensive line with some of the most reliable playmakers on his team (ex: Shorts III) sidelined.
He's just not in a great position right now.

He seems like a great kid, great attitude and filled in quite well when ever he was called on.
