Stick with Musgrave.......really.........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. For many of the same incompetent reasons we should not have stuck with Frazier. I think both are nice guys and wouldn't mind having either for a neighbor but sure as hell don't want them as the HC or OC.

Did this have to be a poll? Couldn't this just be a question and answer? Nothing personal, just think it's overused and used primarily to offer snarky answers for people to choose.

Definitely.

I think with a struggling offense like the Vikes have, it's really easy to get upset at any OC. Add in what will eventually happen in the need to develop a young QB and the frustrated probably isn't fully over, but Norv is proven as an OC, that's for sure. He's a damn good one. HC is a different thing, but we don't have to worry about that.

He's put together some of the most efficient offenses that I've ever seen, so absolutely!

I'm on record as saying Musgrave was not the problem with this offense! If it fits the narritive, just run with it tho. For most of the year he was handed a QB who had no football savvy whatsoever. What do you do when you have a QB who has no gridiron instincts? KISS aka keep it simple stupid! Funny how he looked quite a bit better with Cassel running the show, and Patterson actually being used.

Never really thought much of Norv as a head coach, but I think he's a steal as our OC.

Now if we get that 1st pick correct, things will be looking up.

Even Ponder could have been better without Musgrave. Not a lot better, but better. I always felt bad for the schmuck when Musgrave would give him 3rd down plays that couldn't succeed. But my sympathy was short lived when he'd turn around and do something that showed he had no business out there.

I would be fine with Musgrave being moved to QB coach. No calling plays, just focused on coaching whoever we have at QB.

I think he'll be different. Upgrade, downgrade or sideways move? Who knows. I expect the team to have a completely different personality next year, but whether or not they'll be any better is anyone's guess.

I didn't want to bring this guy's name up because I know how butt hurt people get when his name is discussed. But #### it, this is America. I don't care if any of you agree with this state or not. But I think Norv Turner MIGHT be able to develop Christian Ponder into a Gus Ferotte maybe. Not saying he will start but he may become a serviceable back-up for us. I don't think anyone else would sign him to be a starter. This new staff maybe help him. Let's be fair, outside of Fran Tarkenton, this franchise has not been good at developing QBs. We draft guys in the 1st-4th rounds hoping that they will be great by going through growing pains.

I feel like this is the coaching staff we needed all along. Norv Turner is an offensive guru and I know Zimmer is going to be in everyone's face if they don't do their job. Norv Turner has below average players into something before. He can do the same with Ponder.

Interesting nugget: If he ends up with the Vikings, Turner will have coached three of the top RBs in NFL history: Smith, Tomlinson, and Peterson
