Every year, there is a cute story line right around week 17 and they've got it this year. Media treats them like they're already in the playoffs and won against the Bears already. You heard it here first.

stupid packers. but I hear you the second Mr. Discount Double Check announced his return today, ESPN had this on their Facebook feed -
Aaron Rodgers is officially back.
The Packers are officially a team that nobody should want to face.
Not that I wish injury on anyone - I hope Da Bears D-Line puts a wallop on him this Sunday.

Randall Cobb could be back for the Packers as well.
At least the game against the Bears is in Chicago.

Oh course the Lions are partially to blame for this. They were practically handed the division on a silver platter at the mid point of the season with Rodgers and Cutler both getting injured and then they went on to lose most of those games as well.

I hate to say it, but when you have Aaron Rodgers, a Super Bowl run is a very distinct possibility.
Lets give our very own Vikes a little credit, had we not blown a 16 point lead in the 4th quarter to Matt Flynn, the Packers would be out of contention right now.

I actually don't think our win would have mattered vs GB. they'd be only 1 full game behind CHI

I don't think the Packers will even
get to the Super Bowl.

If we would have won that game, then I believe the Packers would have needed to win in Chicago AND for Detroit to lose this Sunday.

Became painfully obvious the last couple weeks while the officials were holding their hands. I think we are looking at a packers/patriots or Denver Super Bowl. Last week when the steelers blocked the fg was by far the most disgusting officiating I've seen since the nba scandals. Obvious at this point it is all about promoting competition. Ravens have been enjoying the same treatment also. Really makes one reconsidered what they want to watch.

From one vikes fan to another, your wrong about the blocked feild goal call. Want to know why?
The Bell fumble that said it up, was a terrible call, to call him down was simply wrong.
When the Packers recovered the ball, and subsequently ran it into the endzone, the refs gave the Steelers a mulligan and said he was down by contact. Now why, would you say after the entire play was over that he was down by contact WHEN THE WHISTLE WAS NEVER BLOWN is beyond me. They saw the Packers scored a TD, so they tried to cover it up by saying he was down, when, once again, the whistle was never blown.
I think the blocked Fg was a bad call too but it was set up by a terrible call on the leave in bell fumble, if the refs weren't morons, kt would have been a fumble recovery for a TD by GB.
Nit trying to side with the Packers. But the Steelers get #### calls all the time too.

The league, the media, gambling and organized crime are dying for a Packers playoffs run.
The league and gambling people LOVE a "good storyline."
Great ratings, great action?
This is going to be practically pro wrestling today. Could be the worst officiated game of the year.
