Wasn't he doing pretty well there for a minute? And that's on the Jaguars. The talent is there.

But yeah, dodged a bullet there!

But what was the "violation to the substance abuse policy"?

Unreal? Completely real! This is why you don't take the risk on these guys...was clear to see coming the whole way!

We took chances on Moss and Harvin and that worked out ok. Things might have worked out differently for Blackmon had he come here. I mean it still would have been a wasted pick because we have Ponder, but we seem to handle troubled players better than most teams.

I haven't heard what he was suspended for this time. I hear rumors that it was either weed or alcohol. He got a DUI after he got drafted, then was suspended last year, then he was suspended the first 4 games this year, and now this. 3rd or 4th strike already? Don't you just love morons who don't realize how good they got it?

sounds to me like the kid has an addiction problem.

Doesn't matter how good he's got it, if that's the case. Something is off inside him.

Too bad for anyone in that spot. Hope he gets some help and turns his life around.

If "worked out ok" ended in being traded because they were ####. Moss traded...then cut when he was brought back. Harvin verbally attacking a coach, on sideline, in locker room...and then traded. Moss helped the team, but not enough. Imagine these guys as teammates in meetings/locker room/sideline. Not good to the overall feel of a team at all. And both forced their way out!

Forced their way out because they realized they were stuck on a loser team being run by incompetent fools. And Ponders errant passes were constantly putting receivers in a position to take big hits. Slow late floaters are a recipe to get guys blown up.
