You forgot the MBT option. If I have to pick only those two, I'll go with Cassel. I still think he is not the long term answer and would like to see MBT play. but of the two choices, Cassel is the better passer...

I thought Cassel played really, really well today and showed abilities that Ponder will never show.
This is too easy for me. Start Cassel from here on out.

Hey, quit reading my mind.

He's toeing the company line. (Plus he doesn't need to affirm what everybody already knows). If anything, that speaks to his leadership, not wanting to cause a divide in the team. If Ponder was honest and asked the same question, he should say, "Cassel".

Yeah, no way do I blame cassel for saying Ponder's the guy. IMO he nailed the post game interviews and conference.

Yep. And, Cassel gave the team a mini-speech during halftime. He really wants this job, and I feel he earned it today.

Cassell wasn't elite today but he really showed what a capable QB can do for this team.
The only way Ponder sees the field again is if Cassell really stinks it's up a couple games or gets hurt. The whole team was different today. I am not saying the first 3 games were all on Ponder, but my god this team looked totally different today just because of the quarterback switch.
Vote is 20-0 in favor of Cassell btw. Lol.

Out of 25 votes, not one for Ponder. Not surprising.

Cassel. He had a 1 sack, no turnover, 260 total yards, 2 touchdowns that were passes to wide receivers (what a novel concept!) game.
I saw him make 4 great passes and decisions that Ponder does not make. He hit Jennings in position to shake Polamalu and take it to the house.
That pass in stride to Simpson down the middle of the field for 60 was beautiful and exactly what a TRUE West Coast Offense produces.
He had a gorgeous laser pass to Jennings for a touchdown and audibled out of a stuffed run to hit a 9 yard slant pass to Simpson.
It was refreshing to see a guy stand in the pocket...step up into it and hit a guy in stride for 60 or a touchdown.

Yeah but the gamblers will vote for Plunder because they want us to lose so we can gamble on another draft pick. I don't count those votes. Nobody could watch the last 4 games and want Ponder for his ability.

I think the people of the board have spoken!
If Cassel is benched, I am going to boo the entire game at the Metrodome in a couple of weeks. I want Cassel in there until he screws it up.
