Rhodes Island

Post by maembe »

Does anyone know how many plays Xavier Rhodes has been in on? I'm assuming he's been in on most (although I wouldn't put it past this coaching staff to play Josh Robinson over Rhodes), especially after Cook went out. If so, it seems like teams have been avoiding him completely. He's been matched up against some really good receivers and has shut them down it seems, although it may be partially because of how easy it is to throw into Josh Robinson's coverage.

I haven't been able to find any stats or anything to back this up, has anyone seen anything? What do you all think? Is Rhodes Island a real thing?

25. Xavier Rhodes, CB, Minnesota Vikings
Grade: +2.2
Snaps: 162
Analysis: Not quite worked his way into the lineup as an every down player but has more than held his own enough that you wouldn’t expect it too long before he does. Allowed just 7-of-13 balls into his coverage at 6.6 yards per catch.

Excellent, thank you. Basically, what I learned from this article is that are rookies are doing well for the most part, but are underutilized, although I think I already knew that.
