Bob Sansevere Q&A with Bill Musgrave

I'm not linking to this because it's informative but because I found it amusing. Sansevere is practically clawing at Musgrave for a juicy quote about Ponder and Musgrave gives him almost nothing but coachspeak in return. Sansevere barely expresses interest in the rest of the offense. I found it all pretty amusing.

That was very amusing. Sansevere is severely lacking in sophisticated thought.

No doubt.
What is Sansevere's problem? The freaking offensive coordinator is not going to blast his own starting quarterback in preseason.
We get it, Bob. You don't like Ponder. Now shut up.

Exactly, at the very least he could have asked about the progress on picking up blitzes, or at least how they are working on that. Just get him to talk about things that could actually inform the fanbase they actually do things other than coddle the QB.
maybe it was satire......lol

Reading Sansevere's inane babble makes me think of the recent thread in which some website was looking for a freelance, unpaid writer, willing to put in some hard time in order to get established in a highly competitive field. It blows my mind how inarticulate, unintelligent writers get highly desirable gigs.

He probably started off working hard. Now that he's established he's lost the edge. Maybe they should bring in some competition instead of just coddling and protecting the guy.

Or he knew the right people to get his foot in the door.
I googled his name to inquire and found this:
http://deadspin.com/155945/why-your-hom ... -sansevere
The writer seems to share your opinion:
Sports columnists such as Sansevere have taken their jobs for granted long enough — acting like someone has appointed them to the Supreme Court. These should not be lifetime positions. They should be required to actually try. Otherwise, that auto mechanic from Eden Prairie who's been waiting in the wings ought to get his shot.

bwahaha. Nice try Bobby boy. Was an amusing read. But wow, overboard a little?
BM: We're not really into the finger-pointing game. We're not into the blame game.
Of course you aren't you clown. The minute the fingers started to get pointed, one of them is going at you. Possible even before Ponder (hahaha, oh man good one Demi).
The sooner this "west coast" crap is gone, the better. Since Childress was hired we had to put up with this nonsense. This isn't the 80s or 90s. You have an entire field, use it. Teams have adapted to the dink and dunk offense. You need to make plays downfield. And hard to tell what's worse, an OC like Musgrave running his offense like he does, or drafting quasi-athlete, accurate, questionable arm strength "west coast" mid round type talent QBs four rounds earlier than they deserve to be drafted because they "fit the offense".
Only thing in the article missing was Musgrave asking Sansevere where the dead horse was so he could bury it! (Can't bury it suckers, way too much beating left to do!.

)
