This Daily Norseman article is reminiscent of the kind of humor The Onion publishes. I thought it was pretty funny:

Meanwhile we got Ponder going 2-for-38 so far for like negative 3 yards and 14 interceptions...

LOVE!

Whoever wrote this must have been from this board, or they at least read the board beforehand.

Actually, that was more of a good play by Kerrigan than it was a stupid pass by Big Ben. He batted it down but struggled to get a hold of it for the first 5-10 yards during the return. It was a heck of a play to be honest.

Speaking of that game, for coaches and players "not caring about preseason" these two teams are pretty into this game. Big Ben and RG3 couldn't even stand there for their interviews without turning back every few seconds to look at what was going on with their teams well into the third and fourth quarter. Also, Tomlin, Haley, and Big Ben were showing obvious frustration early on. But, ya know, preseason doesn't matter. Big Ben and RG3 are just being foolish for showing so much passion and concern about how their team is performing. Yep. Players and coaches aren't concerned about winning. But, it looks like the Steelers are. But, what does that scrub organization know about winning? Maybe these guys should listen to Vikings fans and lighten up. This is preseason man!

It's all fun and games until a homer's team finishes 3rd or 4th in the division, misses the playoffs, and loses an eye.

Yep us homers do enjoy cheering for the Vikes and delight in them making the play-offs after a dismal 3-13 season. Also looking forward to the continued "rebuild" that Spielman has engineered and hoping for a better season this year. (man what is wrong with us)

It was funny, but at least the Ponder stats were accurate.
