Qulity over quanity projection?

As we need CB's, do the Vikes take a chance on Tyrann Mathieu with a 3rd round pick, as we have two fourth rounders? He's obvious first round talent and seems to have gotten it, so maybe he's worth the gamble

I only posted because of the need and the chance to get that need by the 3rd round. And he knows he has already lost millions and wants to get it back and he knows that will take time. But I think the Vikes will have your same mindset, here.

I wouldn't spend a third round pick on him. If the Vikings think drafting him is worth the risk. I'd rather they wait longer than that.

Tyrann Mathieu - DB - Player
LSU CB Tyrann Mathieu ran forty times of 4.43 and 4.50 at the Combine Tuesday.
After managing a pitiful four reps of 225 pounds on the bench press Monday, Mathieu needed a fast time to salvage his stock. The two solid forties should do the trick. It's the speed he'll need after measuring in at just 5-foot-8 3/4 and 186 pounds. The Honey Badger, profiling as an intriguing slot corner prospect, now has a good shot at being a day-two selection.

FOUR reps of 225? Kluwe could do more than that. Brings into question his work ethic. Decent 40 times, though. Somebody will take a chance on day two, but I highly doubt that team is us.

I would love to dreft him. He was a BEAST at LSU, which plays in an almost Pro-quality conference and almost always finishes near the top.

Underachiever is negative. Overachiever is positive. Adrian Peterson is an overachiever.
