Greenway Replaces Ware in the Pro Bowl.

Demarcus Ware can not play in the Pro Bowl, so Greenway is in.

I just think the tackle stat is dumb. I mean I guess it's good and all but in our awesome Cover-2 system he's always tackling someone 10 yards after the first down.

Greenway makes back to back trips to the Pro Bowl and has led the Vikings in Tackles the last five years. This year 148 tackles, 3 sacks and an int.. Man does he suck

He isn't flashy enough for some fans. Not all LB's have Ray Lewis flash. Greenway is a farm boy from South Dakota I don't see him dancing like a headless chicken anytime soon.

He is one of my favorite players. He is not the best in pass coverage but he is all over the field making big plays. Glad he is a Viking.

Making big plays? Wow yeah when I think of a play maker Chad Greenway is the first name that pops to mind.

Really? Well, I guess he could always try NOT tackling.
Seriously, the guy MAKES tackles, which is not sensational but IS vital. He is also used differently as an OLB than others, like Aldon Smith, Vonn Miller and Demarcus Ware, who all function as pass rushers more than anything else.
Does Greenway need to improve his coverage skills? Sure. But he is still a heckuva OLB even with that weakness. Consider also that NONE of the Vikings LBs have good coverage skills, and he is somehow expected to pick up the slack. A pretty tall order. While you can pooh-pooh his selection to the All Pro team (or his selection as a replacememt for Ware in the Pro Bowl), the fact is he made it. And he deserved it, IMO.
