For those getting on Ponder for the timing of all this, I talked to one high-ranking #Vikings official yesterday who said this: "Yes, it's a little odd. It's not like she'll leave you during the season. But he's working his #### off and that's all anyone cares about."

Found this gem on ESPN comments & had to share:
So Christian Ponder got married yesterday...
I heard AP had to carry him to the alter and it was followed by a short reception.

Tom Brady he ain't. I wonder how solid that marriage will be when Ponder is a 3rd string backup playing in K.C. or Arizona?

He'll still be an NFL QB. Last I checked they are not exactly making minimum wage.

Holy awkward! Especially his answer to the (admittedly tough) question comparing it to being drafted #1. Seems pretty clear that he hadn't expected word to get out and to have to deal with such questions from the press.

If hes working his a$$ off, and hes continues to suck, whats that say about thus coaching staff? And the fact McNabb played as long as he did.
