Completely random question?

What is the state of Fitz contract in Arizona? I ask because despite our issues at QB we still have a more stable set up then the Cards at that position and I would argue a much more stable team all around. I know that he has some serious connections to the twin city area and he cant be happy with the Cards right now. Just a random thought I had whilst trying to avoid the headlines

I believe it's talked about in the WR thread so you might want to check that one out. In a nutshell he has a big / lengthy contract there, and he's personally stated he's happy being a Cardinal. It's unlikely to see him in purple.

8/20/2011: Signed an eight-year, $128.5 million contract. The deal contains $50 million guaranteed, including a $10 million signing bonus and first-year roster bonus of $8 million.
