I would love to argue with the pessimistic outlook on next weeks game, but I can't.

After coming off a bad loss against the Bears, how will things play out against the Packers?

I doubt we get blown out twice in a row. Packers have played a lot of tight games against worse teams. Don't think we win, but it'll be a one score game

At Lambeau? On grass? In the cold? With our hands-of-stone receiving corps and our head-of-stone QB?
Vikes 74 - Packers 6

Lets see, half way good team that got beat bad on national TV, at home. Clay Matthews and Greg Jennings will probably both be back.
Packers 35
Vikings 10

The Packers are awfully beat up right now. The Vikings have no heart.
Packers 31
Vikings 20

My bold prediction at the beginning of the year was the Vikings win @ Lambeau so I'll stick with that.
Vikings - 20
Packers - 14

The upcoming game against GB has somewhat of a mirror image to todays loss and I am afraid the outcome might be even worse.
Prior to playing us this week Chicago got embarrassed. They spent the next week preparing to play us, they came out well prepared and they kicked our butt. It did not hurt that they got a key player back in Cutler in the process.
This week, GB got totally embarrassed on national TV against the Giants. They will spend the upcoming week preparing to play us, they will come out determined to exact some revenge for that loss and it will not hurt them in the fact that they too will be getting key players back ie: Jennings and possibly Mathews.
It does not bode well for us and I doubt GB will let up once they get ahead.
G.B. 38 Vikings 10

No way the Vikes go into Green Bay with the same gameplan as today. I'll think they'll marginalize Ponder out of the gate and go run-heavy with AD, letting the offensive line open holes which they seem somewhat competent at doing. Run-pass ratio is likely to be higher than 60-40 (could be as high as 75-25 in the 1st quarter). This would keep Rodgers and the Packer offense off the field and give the Vikings a chance to keep their defense somewhat rested. Most importantly, it keeps Ponder from hurting the drives. They will make it or not based on AD and maybe Harvin if he's back.
I still think the Packers will win, though, because Rodgers and company will get their big plays and score TDs when they have the chance. I can't see the Pack scoring fewer than 28 points at home. I'll go 28-17 Pack. It will be fairly close entering the 4th, but Pack pull away with two late TDs for the final margin.

This is going to be bad. I don't see how the defense can stop Rodgers and the GB Wrs. The only way we keep this close is if Adrian can pound the ball all day and we keep the clock running.
My prediction.....Green Bay 38 Vikings 17.
My prediction if Percy doesn't play again and Harrison Smith is out is 45-10.
Were just not as good as the Packers and they will show it, and show it pretty easily, come Sunday.

It seems to me that whenever this board gets down on the team they show up the next week and over perform. I hope this is one of those instances. We should have Percy back, AD should continue to do what he always does, and Wright looks like he could be a huge help to our offense (10 rec for 114 yards 1 TD) if given the opportunity. I hate the Packers more than any team in the NFL. And half the people I work with are Packers fan. It would be great to come to work next Monday and not have to deal with all of them. I think the Vikings find a enough offensive firepower to win the game and the defense is able to do just enough to help. Vikings - 27 Packers -21.

I'm with you on this one. This seems like the kind of game the Vikes win to lure everyone back in before crushing us later.
