Manti Te'o is Lofa Ta-2.0, I'm not that interested in him. I have a feeling this is going to be a year where we'll pick in the 20s and Spielman will be feeling good about himself and we'll end up trading into day two. Which I guess will be fine considering this past draft's results, I just don't want him pulling a Ted Thompson thinking he's found a diamond in the rough like '07 Justin Harrell. Eesh.

The same could have and was said about Aaron Curry, Ernie Sims, AJ Hawk, and Manny Lawson.

LBs are like RBs in the NFL draft; you can get them in the late rounds and develop them into quality starters. Sure there have been some hits (Greenway, Matthews, Miller,) but overall, I think that they are a 3rd and lower round priority

Depends on the skillset and the defense you're running. For example, an intelligent, athletic MLB in the Cover-2 is vital. I personally think he goes top 10, so we'd have to probably trade up a few spots to acquire him. Unless the coaching staff becomes obsessed with him and think he'd be our Patrick Willis I doubt a trade up to get him would happen.

Is it me or is it just way too early to make a call on any of these guys!?

With that said, we could use a LB, and i've liked our picks from ND (rudolph / smith)

Really though they probably -have- to try and get a WR with the #1 pick.

I doubt Teo will drop to us. We should be looking at the likes of Hunter and Allen.

OL, DB's, and another WR are priorities in the first few rounds.

DT and LB is way more important then DB. I think Robinson/Cook/Jefferson/Possible FA or late round rookie will suffice for now. We need a lot of help at DT and LB though, especially with Williams on the decline.

I'd love the Vikes to get Star Lotulelei but I doubt he would get past the first 10.

It'd be nice to have a hometown boy to cheer for. Haven't had that opportunity since Al Noga. Meanwhile I have two classmates playing for the Bears and Lions....

A person from a school close to me plays starting safety on the Rams; Craig Dahl..he sucks though haha. Was beast in highschool.
