Awesome win. Wish ponder would have thrown the TD to peterson for selfish fantasy reason and don't know what the heck gerhart was doing there at the end. Our defense really showed up today.

SHAMahan lost again?
Re: 49ers @ Vikings Gameday Discussion Thread--Week 3
I would say Harvin and Rudolph would have to be in there too. Greenway and Peterson also had nice games.CalVike wrote:I did not see it yet, will watch on Game Rewind. VERY impressed by the win though, however it happened. Zulgad's quick take said win was on Ponder and the D, two much maligned creatures. Very encouraging. Go Vikes.

I have no problem believing that there is a lot of $$$ at stake during this Ref/NFL lockout. So yes, corruption. It's not hard to see that just by watching th Vikings 4th quarter and/or the Lions game.Just Me wrote:The NFL is corrupt. They just ruled that was an incomplete pass for Tennessee when the replay clearly shows that it was completed. Do the refs have money on Detroit in Vegas or something?
Re: 49ers @ Vikings Gameday Discussion Thread--Week 3
I agree, before seeing this game I would've sworn there was no way a team could get screwed worse than the Vikings. Thanks refs for proving me wrongS197 wrote:ROFL and now they say the ball hit the ground. The Titans are getting jobbed worse than the Vikings. Absolutely shameful day for the NFL.

Cheaters are forced to punt from their own end zone!

Accordinmg to many fans the Vikes should never even have been close in this game.
I am ecstatic that they pulled this off. The D played great Musgrave called a very good game and Ponder was Aaron Rogers like.
So instead of being overjoyed by this win lets talk about how poorly Frazier coached how Gerhart sucks and should have been pulled (there is that 20/20 hindsight working) after fumblimg twice ya da ya da. Don't consider that AD had already fumbled in this game and that Gerhart is a sure handed hard running back, the type of runner that you want to have at this juncture of the game, who seldom fumbles. I will take the high road and give kudos for leaving him in. This was devastating enough for Gerhart but his coach showed confidence in him. Of course it could have been catastrofic but it was not the Vikes won the biggest contest in the last three years that they played in.
I believe that Gerhart will come back from this and be a better for it.

Titans score a field goal. Let's see if Detroit can come back now.

Raymond on crutchers, Frazier says he doesn't know the extent of the injury. Allen has neck spasms.

That chiefs player better be down by contact - ground can't cause a fumble.

Chiefs complete a nice pass, it goes out of Draughn's hands and the Aints pick it up and run it in. Oh but wait, the receiver was down and the refs didn't whistle it either down by contact or touchdown...play under review now. Wotta bunch of maroons...
