This topic is for predictions on who will win the Vikings' season opener.

Even if MJD played, I still liked the Vikings chances of winning this game. I don't believe Gabbert is a starting QB and carry this team. With MJD still holding out, Vikings win it 21-10.

JA will have a huge game. The offense will struggle. Vikes will win by 3

On defense, Jared Allen with typical slow start will be a no show, linebackers shine, secondary iffy. On offense, running game flat with under 80 yards, passing game competent. Offensive line grades: passing B+, running D.

Vikings 20
Jaguars 17

13-10 vikings. Our one TD is a little goal line dump off to a FB or Percy counter.

Game will be at least 4 hours long.

Vikings D will get 1 INT.

I sure wish I knew what AD will look like. Will he be one hundred percent? I find that doubtful.

Even so, I see the Vikings wining this one by 3.

Oh, and don't forget the replacement refs. Given what I've seen, a few bad goofs could be game deciders.

Man, if the Vikes drop their home opener by 11 points to the Jags I might have to rethink all of your constant negativism and give it some credence.

Jaguars aren't that good either. And MJD probably won't be 100% and might not play. 11 points at home? It could happen but that's just a tad bit pessimistic.
