I've been saying that for 12 years nowSpiderbeavis wrote:Game 7 was a classic brawl from beginning to end. It was one of the most bare-knuckled, sloppily-played NBA g̶a̶m̶e̶s̶cage matches I've ever seen. There were long stretches of time where it seemed like neither team could buy a basket. In the end though, it came out in the best way possible...with the Smell-tics going home disappointed and the Lakers once again the rightful kings of the NBA world!![]()
Now come on Vikes...it's your turn to win!!
Suns fan your talking to here808vikingsfan wrote:I care. One of the greatest wins I've experienced. I mean, I can't image how I would feel when the Vikings finally win the big one, but this was sooooo satisfying. First, getting rid of the Suns. Sweet revenge from 1993 (yes, that one still hurt), 2006 and 07. Then to beat the hated Celtics. It was the way they beat them too. Smashmouth just like spiderbeavis described.
I'm curious about one thing though. I've seen a few people commenting on how they hope the Celtics win because of Garnett or how they were happy for him in 2008. This may be a biased view but from what I've seen, he's always seemed classless and as others have described him, a thug. Look at this year's finals, a media reporter misquotes Pau Gasol and Kevin's immediate reaction was to 'dis' Gasol. His thumping his fists on his chest, thumping his fists on the court, dirty plays. I just don't get it. I'm guessing he wasn't like this when he played for the Wolves.
Anyway, here's hoping the NFL season ends the same way.
Why should Kobe be in jail? The Colorado thing was total and complete BS.Laserman wrote:He should be in jail right now anyway.
However,we were bullied inside... The Spurs had always had our number until this year808vikingsfan wrote: The Suns had the Lakers number up until this year. I really thought if anyone was going to beat the Lakers, it was going to be Nash and the Suns.
Is it really. I thought Kobe Bryant admitted to having adultery with the hooker. I also heard there was blood involvedglg wrote: Why should Kobe be in jail? The Colorado thing was total and complete BS.
Oh your not Biased at all. I use to be a huge KG fan until I watched closely his attitude and his actions and they both suck. I understand there are emotions in the NBA and "you in the moment" but this guy takes it to a whole new level. HE's a classless thug and it's a shame he has a championship ring when class act's people like Ewing, Stockton, Barkley, Reggie Miller have never won one.808vikingsfan wrote: I'm curious about one thing though.
