Is Kornheiser an idiot or is ESPN for overreacting in this way?

He hasn't been on PTI this week (Dan Le Batard has been in his place), but Wilbon's just been saying he's out, guess this is why.

It's not clear in the article, but this wasn't on PTI (I watch it daily), must have been on his radio show.

How is this any different than what Kornheser has ever done before? Did Storm complain? Come on, he has said worse stuff about just about every person in the world who has ever thrown a ball.

Exactly. He says stuff like this all the time. He also picks on other people's clothes all the time. If Hannah Storm was personally offended, she doesn't seem like the type who wouldn't just call Tony and tell him off (and he would have apologized to her).

The 67-year-old Kornheiser, known for his caustic remarks, said the 47-year-old Storm looked like "a Holden Caulfield fantasy" when she wore a skirt he described as "way too short for somebody in her 40s or maybe early 50s by now."

"She looks like she has sausage casing wrapping around her upper body," he said. "I know she's very good, and I'm not supposed to be critical of ESPN... But Hannah Storm today? Come on now. Stop. What are you doing?"

My guess is that either Hannah complained or some other middle-aged woman working at ESPN.

Insulting co-workers? yeah, not a smart idea.

He's gone from MNF where he did suck. If he sucked on the radio and PTI, he wouldn't get the ratings he does.

He's totally right about that lady's outfit. Women with nasty legs/knees should not be wearing skirts, just like fat girls shouldn't wear low-rider jeans and a thong. It's common sense and common courtesy.

And holy crap, Kornheiser is 67 years old?! Guy looks pretty good for being elderly.

hannah storm (who has a name best suited for porn and meterology) is an attrocious dresser. my wife and I have laughed about how she must get dressed in the dark every morning before tony ever got in trouble for this. Its not just limited to her though. the real light skinned slightly black sports center achor with the very short hair and odd looking face is almost equally as bad. And Dana Jacobson from cold pizza is truly a sad case. She just seems beyond help.

anyway, I for one think kornheiser is pretty good on pti and think espn needs to address storms attire before they worry about kornheiser pointing out the obvious.
