not surprised really.
Car companies are not listening to what people want as far as Gas Mileage and such.
VW TDI's are now getting 58 miles to the Gallon. Ford bought an engine when escorts
were there big seller that got almost 100 miles to the gallon from an Austrilian design. I saw
it working in an escort on PBS 15 years ago. They never introduced it.
