Just got back from seeing the movie 'Angels and Demons'. It's better than the first movie, but the plot is oddly similar. Some plot points you can see coming from a mile away, but they don't detract from the movie as a whole. I liked it a lot!

Science investigates, religion interprets. Science gives man knowledge which is power. Religion gives man wisdom which is control.

No, and I recommend that people not do that before seeing movies based on books. They'll be in for a major disappointment otherwise.

You cannot make a book literally into a movie. You'll wind up with a six hour movie. No, enjoy the movie for what it is.

I didn't care for the book, but it looks like it could be a good action movie.

Sad to say, I did. Not that it detracted from my enjoyment of the movie, though.

I didn't see the first one, so maybe It'll be good for me. I wanted to go see it. I've always enjoyed books that debate between religion and science. Hopefully it'll be good.
