Tgis happens every year near the end of ice fishing season. I get really anxious to get back out on the lake and hook a big one. Anyone else anxious for it?

I can think of nothing more boring than fishing, except maybe watching paint dry. :)

However, I am anxious for baseball season to start.

Have you ever tried it and actually caught a decent sized fish? If not then you should give ut another try. It just gets my adreniline going when i hook a 20lb fish or more. (i fish for pike and muskie mainly.) as for the baseball season i am anxious for that as well. I am a pretty big twins fan as well.

Nothing wrong with fishing, thousands of people love it but I am not one. I like tearing it up on some skis in the water, on a tube, flying around in my speedboat or carving it up on the jet-ski. Everyones different so whatever floats your boat...*groan*

I've been out ice fishing several times so I'm not quite as anxious as some. Although I'm anxious enough to want to get the boat out.

Being from Texas, I have been killing the catfish the last few weekends. I should be back up to "the land of ice and snow" around July. Can not beat fishing in Texas in the spring. Fishing and and the Vikes thats what I do.

I mainly catfish here in Texas, some Sandbass and Crappie though. When I go up to Brainerd MN area I will mainly fish for Pike & Walleye, last year we cleaned up on Crappie. The last few seasons I have been trying to get my first Musky with no luck. I just like to fish anything that will take a hook, even tried bow fishing for Gar couple times.

I cant wait for fishing. Glad to see the slot and bag limit upped a little on Upper Red Lake after June15th, early you catch all the fish you want, 90% of them were in the slot, going to 20inches will help a lot. I HATE SPRING, friggin muddy and wet.

no kidding. Its the worst season of the year imo. The walleye slot will help the population a bunch. Out on Green lake near wilmar, They had decent largemouth fishing but then they put a 21 in. slot on them. Now thats the best laremouth spot that i fish. Every time i head up there i get at least 1 5lb largie. The pike are also very good there. I caught 2 10 ponders in the same day.
