Wow, I'm shocked my digital camera still works today. Yesterday, after getting hot waiting for something like 4 hours for the tall ships to enter the Duluth Harbor, I waded into Lake Superior. Forgetting, of course, that my camera was in my pocket. It got thoroughly soaked. But it still works!
And the pictures turned out great!

I put my sell phone through the wash one time, and then after 1 week of having a new one (and having my wife yell at me for forgetting to take the cell phone out of my pants), I did the same damn thing again. Of course, neither phone survived the washing.
Glad your camera still works. Those things can be pricy!!

my wife has the Sony camera and really likes it.
I just purchased the Kodak 10.2 megapixel camera with a 3X zoom
I am taking it to the game and hopefully it takes some great pics.

A 3X zoom ain't nothin' to write home about. That's why I'm going to get a DSLR, with a nice BIG zoom lens. Using the point-and-shoot has been frustrating for me after having used a Minolta Maxxum with a 70-210 lens.

Agreeded I don't expect the shots a DSR would give. I just wanted a nice easy to use camera.
At some point I will replace my Cannon 35mm camera. If it does these thins for a few years
I will be pleased with the purchase.
I just got it yesterday and takes some incredible pictures IMO
I got a 4GB memory card with it that should hold a lot of pics from
what I understand.
