I passed the driving part with a 95% and the written part with a 95%. I just got my license this morning. I was one the best out of my friends with my 95%!

I remember missing the most amount possible without failing.

yeah, don't how much cruising I will be doing with gas the way it is. Eh, fun to dream though right?

Congrats! Now don't be an idiot like many new drivers...like me when I cracked up my dad's Buick Wildcat years ago. Nobody got hurt other than me when I had to paint two large homes the following summer to pay him back, but it could have been worse... be safe, we want you to be around here....

Gas prices... my kids asked me for gas money and I'd give them a five or ten. Now parents are forking over a twenty or two or three!

I passed on my first time too, I was the only one of my friends to do that.

When my brother went for his driver's license, he had almost max points, but he touched the flag on the parallel parking test. That was an instant failure.

When I took my test, I played the parallel parking test safe, and I didn't get close to the curb. The examiner asked if I wanted to try to get closer, and I said, "No, just take off the points." I still passed, and that's what I cared about.

That was many years ago, and I parallel park quite well now.

a girlfirend of mine Tracy failed her driving test and got so upset
she kicked the DMV instructor out of the vehicle and made him walk back.

She didn't get her license for an additional two years

we teased her for a long time about that one

I passed mine while in the middle of 8" snowfall - still took some reminding of that to borrow the car on a snowy friday night

I remember the parallel parking test being like parking behind a truck or something. My mom had taken me out the day before for some last minute practice. I drove around and we did a bunch of real parallel parking using cars. Mistake. I ended up like 2 feet off the curb because I'd been using cars much less wide then the cones.

Live in Chicago for a couple years without an off street space and you'll be able to park anything.

I parallel parked perfect right away on the first attempt. I was right up against the curb. I was really proud I did that without losing any points. When i was taking Driver's Ed. I was nervous the first time and my instructor got mad at me because I also second guessed myself. I was always backing good, then I would second guess my self and back up more than I should have. On the test I had to parallel park between a Cadillac CTS and I think it was a Camry. I got nervous when I saw that CTS, but I did it perfect.

i got the same score both times i took the test, just reversed. 57 and 75.
