Sunday night and early Monday, some cities in northern Minnesota got two feet of snow:
Grand Rapids - 20"
Orr - 20"
Bemidji - 20"
Hibbing - 25"
Virginia - 25"
Chisholm - 25"
Eveleth - 25"
And just north of Virginia, it was reported that 32" of snow fell!
Meanwhile, Duluth and North Shore cities only got a couple of inches, which quickly turned to slush.
Is it May yet?

32 inches... I'd start hitting people if that happened here.

We don't want to hear about it!
Now, we have a blizzard watch for tomorrow night and Friday. They're talkin' about a foot or more for the shore cities and not much away from the lake.
I'm just glad I don't work Friday.

The weekend up until today was great here in Kentucky.
It stayed between 55 and 80 and mostly sunny. It was really a GREAT weekend weather-wise.

Central Minnesota is due to get smacked with snow Thursday night or Friday.
My kids and I may get to make one more snowman this year.

I can't believe we are getting that much snow in April, even if it melts right away it still sucks a big one.

The city of Duluth is closed. As is most of the surrounding area. We've only gotten three or four inches of snow, but we have 50 mph wind gusts. Two of the three TV stations here are not on the air. They're calling for 5 or 6 more inches of snow today, through tomorrow morning.
But, the Duluth News Tribune was delivered this morning, with only a few exceptions, to its customers! Do we have great newspaper carriers, or what? I'm really proud of those people.
