Nice, Thanks! Say do you remember last year there was some sort of a movement to change our kick off song to something that resembled the team more. Instead of Welcome to the Jungle it would be a Led Zeppelin song?

Why didn't that go through does anyone know? I would much rather have the Immigrant song!

When I was there for the Cowboys game in the preseason, they played it for the introduction.

They did change the opening song to "The Immigrant Song" by Led Zepplin. Quite honestly it sucks. They need to bring back the thunder and lightning opening they used to have. JMHO of course.

You coulldnt be more right Mike, that new intro BLOWS!!!

I actually called in and talked to the head of marketing or something like that and he told me that they have had the same intro for like 10 years and it was time for a change....well it was a bad change.

The old intro people would get really fired up and were claping and cheering and it lead perfectly right into the intro of the players but this new one is so bad that most people arent even paying attention through it. I might have to call again and the rest of you should as well.

Yeah, immigrant song seems kinda cliche and campy. I liked that old one (even though I think I've actually heard it maybe once )

Ok, geesch sorry I brought it up. I definitely hate that song that they play "Go Vikings Let's Go" if you ask me thats the campy song. That song shoulda stayed in the 60's

Well I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone. But to me that song is just outdated. Thats all I am sayin.

Its the team "fight" song, thats like telling any HS or College team to change their fight song...its blasphemy! But you are entitled to dislike it ...what a great country!!!
